LaRosa's Italian Newburyport - Authentic Italian Dining & Exceptional Service in Downtown Newburyport

We had an excellent dining experience celebrating my mom's 85th birthday! Our waitress, Kit, and our food server, Mason, provided exceptional service, ensuring that our needs were met promptly. The meal itself was delightful. We started with burrata, an Italian wedge salad, and flavorful meatballs. For the main course, we enjoyed Papalina and a gluten-free pasta with chicken, both of which were outstanding. Overall, it was a memorable celebration, thanks to the delicious food and attentive service. Highly recommend!

This is one of the best Italian places I've been to in the area. Fairly new restaurant, located in a prime spot in downtown newburyport (plenty of parking around downtown). I went with my girlfriend on their opening week and was lucky enough to snag a seat in their outdoor dining area. I do recommend making reservations in advance, because they were booked out for the night when we arrived. The servers and hostesses are sweet and attentive (shoutout to our server, Grace), but it being a new place and with its growing popularity, it may take a moment to be attended to - at least for now. All the staff work very hard to give you a great experience. Food was great! My girlfriend and I tried two of their choice pizzas on the menu and was blown away by the freshness, aroma, and taste of our food. They paired well with the mixed drinks they served us (which are equally as impressive, if not moreso) the authenticity of this place is enhanced not only by the servers, but by the food as well. Had a lovely desert with an espresso to close out the evening. I do highly recommend this spot for date night, business meetings, or a night out with friends. I know I will be back to try some of their pastas and entrees fairly soon.

We enjoyed a delicious salad on their outdoor terrace The Gorgonzola salad was delicious Also the bread and olive oils was really good and a 6 ounce poor of wine Will def come back The only note The restaurant inside had an awful smell of windex or other cleaning detergent That would def have impacted my appetite if eating inside but not a problem as we were eating outside

Briana was our server and was very warm and welcoming, she took great care of us. She recommended some of her favorites. I love Italian cuisine and the dishes here were SO yummy, especially the pesto and gnocchi. We ordered two cocktails that were also very good. It was such a fun night. The hostess was also very sweet although i didn’t catch her name. Great service and flavors. We will be back!

As someone who is obsessed with vodka sauce, LaRosa’s is 10/10. I got the drunken parm sandwich and rigatoni vodka. Host and server were so attentive and kind towards my toddler. I can’t wait to come back!!

WOW!!! Amazing experience. Went for lunch on Thursday and it was one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. Our server was extremely attentive and kind. We shared a chicken parm and a vodka parm sandwich and it was just excellent. Quality ingredients. The marinara was so good. Also the lemon parm fries were so yummy and creative. Plenty to share. Aperol spritz - also great. The location - beautiful. Very well done.
